Tour Guide

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for tour guides for a global brand in tractor manufacturing. Location of the role: Basildon, SS14 This role is on an ad-hoc basis, meaning there are no full-time hours. Tours take place between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is needed as tours are typically once or twice a week. However, during busy periods there can be up to 5 tours per week. An average tour is usually about 4 hours long. Pay rate: £11.44 p/h Examples of duties: Preparing the showroom ready for the tour, e.g., preparing gift bags, setting up audio equipment Greeting visitors, being their main point of contact for the visit Conducting a presentation for up to 45 people. Leading and conducting a plant tour for approximately 1 hour Take sales in the showroom shop We are looking for confident candidates, preferably with previous experience as a host or customer facing role. Knowledge about agriculture would be advantageous, but not necessary as full training about the products will be provided.
