Owen Daniels have partnered with Polytec in Telford as they look to appoint a Head of Supply Chain to develop and implement MP&L strategies, policies, and procedures across the business. Polytec are a Tier 1 Automotive supplier of high-quality exterior plastic components, supplying into some of the biggest names in the Automotive industry. Supply Chain Director Permanent Salary dependent on experience (plus bonus and car allowance) Telford As Supply Chain Director you will be responsible for MP&L, managing inventory, warehouse, distribution, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing performance with internal and external stakeholders. You will have overall UK responsibility for all logistics operations ensuring customer satisfaction, ensuring value adding activity and performance from all functions and colleagues, within the department and externally with customers and suppliers. Supply Chain Director Job Description Developing and implementing MP&L vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to improve operational performance. Managing MP&L budgets, optimising costs, and preparing annual budgets and forecasts. Developing strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring MP&L objectives and compliance with regulations. Evaluating challenges, mitigating risks, and seizing opportunities to enhance operational and financial performance. Overseeing inventory integrity, IT system effectiveness, and interpreting data to inform strategies. Fostering environmental strategies, technological advancements, and audits to ensure eco-friendly operations.
