Computer Science Teacher - Secondary School - Redbridge A large school in Redbridge is looking to appoint a Computer Science teacher to join a successful department. The Computer Science curriculum is vibrant through KS3 which challenges creativity and progress. In KS4 they offer a Pearson Computer Science GCSE qualification. Experience of this award would be extremely beneficial to this role and they would welcome ECTs if they have robust experience.? Computer Science Teacher - Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will: Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree Understand the theory and practice of effective teaching and learning Understand the importance of high expectations and equality of access for all students, and of being a tutor Have knowledge of Computer Science in the National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4 Be able to work as part of a team and to develop and maintain positive relationships with all staff Be able to create a motivating and safe learning environment for all students Be able to communicate positively with parents, carers and other external agencies where necessary SCHOOL DETAILS - Experienced DT Teacher Graded 'Good’ by Ofsted GCSE Computer Science award? 2 ICT suites with ipads available for students as well?
