Reed Public Sector is urgently looking for an interim Financial Systems Accountant for a Local Authority in Location: Predominantly Remote (Minimal visits to Civic Centre, Reading) Day Rate: Circa £550.00 per day (Inside IR35) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Accountant with a strong working knowledge of Civica Pay to join our client's fast-paced Customer and Case Management programme team. This role is pivotal in enhancing processes for receiving payments from the public across various channels. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimize business processes Build and enhance functionality in Civica Pay Test and implement control functions Manage a variety of customer payment channels, including: Royal Berkshire Archives - payment Library donations Allotments - annual fees Order a new bin Extra waste capacity Bulky waste Garden waste Trade sacks Trade waste - quote Armed Forces Day stalls Water Fest stalls Forbury Fiesta stalls Bus pass replacement - lost or damaged Requirements: Proven experience as a financial systems accountant Strong working knowledge of Civica Pay Ability to design and implement business processes and control functions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and make a significant impact.
