Qualifications: BCom Accounting Complete SAICA / SAIPA articles IFRS Skills: Advanced Excel Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central is advantageous 5years experience in finance Agriculture experience is highly beneficial Job description: Review and reconcile creditors accounts and process payments. Assist with preparing and reviewing bank payments. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring they align with supporting schedules. Process and reconcile intergroup transactions. Manage monthly and year-end journal entries. Prepare financial records up to trial balance and management accounts, ensuring they align with budgets. Compile and ensure the timely submission and payment of PAYE and VAT returns. Provide support for the external audit process. Oversee asset accounting and manage insurance-related matters. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance team to enhance efficiency while maintaining robust internal controls. Mentor and provide guidance to finance team members.
