Job Description
Key Requirements and Skills: Matric Tertiary education in sales advantageous Own transport 5 years of experience working in a sales driven environment. Experience working in ICT/Telecoms industry Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong administrative skills Strong understanding of sales principles and negotiation techniques Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team Key Responsibilities: Customer Acquisition and Sales Growth: Identify and approach potential clients to promote our products/services Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets Present, promote, and sell products/services to prospective customers using persuasive communication and negotiation skills Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close deals Address objections and provide solutions to secure customer commitment Ensure all sales agreements are documented accurately and processed promptly Market Development: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners Analyse competitor activity to develop unique value propositions Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to penetrate untapped regions and different sectors or new customers Work closely with cross-functional teams to align solutions with customer needs and business goals Monitor and report on competitive market information. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and raise brand awareness. Effective client account management Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing and onboarding new clients Provide exceptional after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM tools Administration: Prepare sales reports to track progress, analyse trends, and measure performance against targets. Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market dynamics, and sales strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities on the required reporting systems. Maintain call reports.
