Android Developer - Kotlin Programming

Job Description & Responsibility : - Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Work with outside data sources and APIs. - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. - Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Key Skills : - Proven software development experience and Android skills development. - Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app. - Experience with Kotlin is a must. - Experience with socket programming and real-time data handling - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. - Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Familiarity with continuous integration. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with WebSocket, TCP/IP, or UDP communication. - Knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code. - Experience with other modern programming languages. - Understanding of Agile methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
