Senior Network Engineer - Routing & Switching

About the Role : As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. You will play a critical role in ensuring network reliability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement scalable and secure network solutions. - Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to optimize network performance. - Configure and troubleshoot EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. - Implement VLANs, trunking, and inter-VLAN routing. - Deploy and manage IPsec, DMVPN, and remote access VPN solutions. - Implement security best practices, such as firewall rules, access controls, and intrusion detection systems. - Utilize scripting languages like Python to automate network tasks and improve efficiency. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and subnetting. - Proficiency in EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. - Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, DMVPN, Remote Access VPN). - Knowledge of NG Firewalls (ASA/FTD/FMC). - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - CCNP certification. - Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering. Desired Skills : - CCIE Routing & Switching - VRFs, IPSec - Knowledge of Git or other version control systems - Python scripting (ref:hirist.tech)
