Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Lead the development and deployment of time series forecasting models to predict demand, sales, or other business-critical metrics. - Apply advanced machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy and efficiency of demand forecasting models. - Use Apache Spark and big data technologies to process and analyze large datasets, ensuring scalability and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights. - Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data collection, transformation, and analysis. - Leverage Python, SQL, and other data science tools to perform exploratory data analysis, build models, and test hypotheses. - Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in time series data. - Continuously monitor model performance and iterate on improvements to ensure predictive models are delivering maximum business value. - Mentor junior data scientists and provide thought leadership in best practices for modeling, analysis, and machine learning. Preferred Skills : - Experience with automated machine learning (AutoML) tools and platforms. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Exposure to advanced forecasting techniques (e.g., ensemble methods, Bayesian models). - Experience in optimizing large-scale machine learning pipelines. - Knowledge of business operations and the ability to translate technical results into actionable business insights.
