Snowflake Developer - Data Modeling & Warehousing

About the Role : As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses on the Snowflake platform. - You will work with large datasets, complex transformations, and data integration challenges. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement efficient data models in Snowflake. - Create and optimize data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. - Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and analyze data. - Develop and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake's built-in tools or external tools like dbt. - Implement data governance policies and procedures. - Ensure data security and privacy compliance. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. - Tune SQL queries and optimize data structures. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong SQL skills, including knowledge of SQL functions, procedures, and performance tuning techniques. - Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform. - Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques. - Experience with data quality and data governance practices. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g, Tableau, Power BI) - Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) (ref:hirist.tech)
