DevOps Engineer - Cloud Services

Experience : 4 years ( Kubernetes Expert ) NP : Immediate Joiner Location : Pune, On-site About the Role : We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a demonstrated background in cloud deployments. The role involves understanding the customer's high level application and translating it into lower-level cloud constructs. This include Post-deployment support, other aspects of cloud operations like central logging, monitoring and alerting will have to be implemented. Finally, all these have to tie into compliance controls from standards like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, etc. You will be working with customers directly to support their implementation and support needs. Further, you will participate and assist customers on their security infrastructure and InfoSec audits. Qualifications : - 4 year of cloud infrastructure or DevOps experience. - Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS. Azure, GCP) - Excellent hands of experience of Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies. - Deep understanding of cloud security constructs like IAM, SG, GuardDuty, penetration tests, WAF, Security Hub, intrusion detection, CVE, and vulnerability scanning. - Technical and customer focused. - Good knowledge on CI/CD systems, for example experience using GitLab workflows, Github Actions, BitBucket Pipeline, Jenkins etc. would be a plus. - Enjoy helping customers with their infrastructure transformation via solutions engineering - Passionate about providing world class devops support to customers. - Able to interface directly with customers, guiding them through their devops journey Roles and Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI - Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to enable scalable and resilient microservices architectures - Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues. - Containerize applications using Docker and manage containerized environments with Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms. - Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems and workflows. - Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps. - Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
