.Net Developer - C# Programming

Job Description : Location : Bangalore, India Experience Level : 6 Years Notice Period : Immediate Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in Windows Server management and DB2 database to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in .NET application development, managing Windows Servers (both 2012 and 2016), upgrading and configuring DB2 databases, and fixing vulnerabilities. Experience with VB.NET and Mainframe technologies is highly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining .NET applications, setting up and upgrading Windows Servers, managing DB2 databases, and addressing vulnerabilities while ensuring high system availability and performance. Key Responsibilities : .NET Application Development : - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient .NET applications. DB2 Database Management : - Manage, configure, and upgrade DB2 databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Windows Server Management : - Set up, configure, and upgrade Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016 environments. - Continue managing and upgrading Windows Server 2016 to ensure optimum performance and security. - Resolve server conflicts and perform regular updates, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure server stability. Vulnerability Management : - Identify, fix, and recommend strategies to mitigate security vulnerabilities in applications and servers. Application Migration : - Migrate applications and services from legacy systems to modern server configurations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime. VB.NET : - Work with VB.NET where applicable in legacy application maintenance or migration. Mainframe Integration : - Manage integration between legacy mainframe systems and modern .NET applications where needed. Required Skills & Experience : - Minimum 6 years of experience in .NET application development, with a strong understanding of C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework. - Proven experience with DB2 database management, including installation, configuration, and optimization. - Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012/2016 configuration, setup, upgrades, and troubleshooting. - Ability to migrate applications between Windows Server versions and manage server conflicts effectively. - Strong understanding of vulnerability management, including identification, remediation, and risk mitigation strategies. - VB.NET skills are preferred for maintaining and upgrading legacy applications. - Knowledge of Mainframe systems is a plus, particularly for integrating legacy and modern systems. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in server and database management. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
