DevOn Software Services - AWS DevOps Engineer - IAC Terraform

Collaborate with AWS solution architects to design and implement AWS solutions in line with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, focusing on Security, Operational Excellence, and Reliability. Your role includes migrating analytics code to PySpark, deploying AWS resources using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and managing AWS Glue Job orchestration with Step Functions. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in AWS services (like FSx, Glue, Athena, and Redshift), Python, Spark, and CI/CD pipelines to create scalable, efficient cloud solutions while working in an Agile environment. Primary Skills : - Work closely with the AWS solution architects to build and operate AWS solutions in line with the AWS Well Architected Framework, putting a particular emphasis on the Security, Operational Excellence and Reliability pillars. - Contribute to the porting of analytics code to PySpark including the implementation of Unit Tests. - Lead the deployment and management of AWS analytics resources following Terraform IaC best practices. - Deploy and manage Glue Job orchestration using Step Functions - Partner with our colleagues in the IT organization to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. - Help develop and maintain technical documentation. - Create and support Glue developer environments using containers for local development and/or Glue Developer Endpoints. Secondary Skills : - In-depth understanding of Cloud best practices, AWS services, configuration, and management - Demonstrated experience building and operating AWS solutions in line with established best practice. - Hands-on experience with AWS services related to Data management and Analytics including FSx filesystems, DataSync, Lake Formation, Glue, Athena and Redshift - Proficient in Terraform with hands on experience using CI/CD for IaC and application code deployment. - Experience building and managing containerized environment with Docker - Experience using Python and Spark for data engineering and analytics. - Experience working in an Agile fashion and managing a backlog of work in Jira or Azure DevOps.
