Backend Engineer - Java/Python

Experience Requirements : - 5 years' experience specifically into backend (desirable to have Full Stack ) working within Financial Services or Banking is desirable but not essential Knowledge Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 2-6 years of experience in backend development, including experience with languages and frameworks such as Java/Python (.NET desirable) - Proficiency in Backend/full stack development, with a strong understanding of back-end technologies and front-end frameworks such as JavaScript. - Experience working with databases like SQL, NoSQL, and ORM technologies - Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and cloud-native application development - Strong understanding of automation testing frameworks and best practices - Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment - Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies - Adept at working in an Agile development environment and managing tasks effectively - Knowledge of financial industry standards, regulations, and best practices is a plus - Comfortable with version control systems such as Git - Nice to have : nCino, Mambu (ref:hirist.tech)
