Logistics Coordinator Heathrow Office Based 9am – 5:30pm £28,000 Our client a cargo company based in Heathrow are on the lookout for an experienced Administrator to join their growing team. The client is looking for someone who has experience in the air freight industry. Logistics Coordinator Duties: Handling correspondence received into the reservations e-mail inbox. Making bookings in the airline operating systems. Assisting the Reservations Manager & Supervisory/Lead Agent staff with new ideas and suggestions to achieve the Airlines targets by meeting all our deadlines, by operating efficiently and being responsible for completing the booking lists for their airline portfolio accurately and on time. Producing the booking list for the airlines customer with priorities that take into consideration yield, budget and flown as booked targets on time Being responsible for providing accurate post flights to all the customers, both in the UK and abroad and chasing up offloads as well as reporting back within agreed timescales Feeding back to sales with any upselling opportunities (full flights) or system issues (rates not pulled forward) Calling customers when flights are like to gain new business on light flights and chasing finals for all PB’s prior to flight departure Responds to all email queries in line with current SLA (one hour maximum resolution time and response to email bookings/FFR’s etc) Logistics Coordinator Specification: Strong communication skills.
