Interventions Teacher Location: Bromley, UK Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Join our SEMH school in Bromley, dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. We are committed to helping our students achieve their full potential through tailored educational programs and comprehensive support services. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and deliver targeted intervention programs to support students with SEMH needs. Work closely with classroom teachers to identify students requiring additional support. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address specific learning and behavioural needs. Monitor and assess the progress of students receiving interventions, adjusting strategies as needed. Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support for students. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and academic achievement of all students. Maintain accurate records and documentation of intervention sessions and student progress. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of intervention strategies and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young people. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
