Job Title: Teaching Assistant (with potential SEN responsibilities) Location: Newham Pay: £90-£105 per day Start Date: January Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential to become permanent) Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant eager to make a positive impact on students' education? The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, ideally with exposure to SEN. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils' learning and development. Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and students. Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage classroom and behavioral challenges confidently. A passion for helping children achieve their potential, both academically and personally.Key responsibilities: Assisting the teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons. Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to help them access the curriculum. Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a nurturing learning environment. Helping to monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers as required. Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language difficulties, by adapting resources and strategies to suit their learning styles. Assisting in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
