Secondary - History Teacher

Reed are working with secondary schools within the Wrexham and Flintshire are on the look for a History Teacher looking for a new challenge in supply or long term roles. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality history lessons that captivate and motivate our students. Develop and enhance the history curriculum in collaboration with the department. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and styles. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students. Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love for history. Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school training events. Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and community events. Required Skills & Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Relevant degree in history or a related subject. Experience teaching history in a secondary school environment. Strong subject knowledge with a passion for history. Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
