Design Technology Teacher

Design Technology Teacher Location: Bourne End Salary: MPS/UPS £33,075 - £50,471 (inclusive of Fringe allowance) plus TLR 2B Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day leadership for the development and management of the Design Technology department. Identify areas for development and improvement linked to the Academy improvement plan, SEF, national and local initiatives. Develop and monitor schemes of work for Design Technology across the academy, ensuring successful implementation that meets curriculum requirements and is differentiated to reflect student needs. Oversee and contribute to the planning and delivery of continuous professional development and training related to Design Technology. Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience in delivering outstanding teaching and learning in Design Technology. Proven successful mentoring/coaching of colleagues. Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver a curriculum relevant to the age and ability of the groups.
