Powder Coater

FINTEC recruit is looking for a Powder Coater for a precision engineering business in Buckingham. This is a permanent role with hourly rate £14.50 to £17.50 depending on experience plus overtime at enhanced rates, plus benefits such as healthcare, insurance, contributory pension. Our client is a leader in manufacture of high quality sheet metalwork, supplying sheet metal components to a range of industries. You will be experienced in applying industrial powder coating paints, achieving high standard of finish. Hours of work: 40 hours, 07:00 a.m to 17:00 pm. Monday to Thursday, finish 15:00 p.m on Friday or earlier depending on hours work, flexible on start/finish times Responsibilities. • Preparation & degreasing of metalwork prior to starting the powder coating process. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, selection and apply material specifications. • Perform booth clean downs, gun inspections and equipment maintenance. • Be capable of powder coating all parts to a high standard, efficiently and consistently to customer quality expectations and timeframes. • Packing of components. • Ensure safe working and correct use of PPE. Skills and Experience required for the Powder Coater:- • Experience of Powder coating within a similar engineering environment • Able to interpret engineering drawings Full details of the Powder Coater role is available on application.
