Prep Chef

Are you passionate about fresh food preparation and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Our client in Luton is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Prep Chef to join their team. This role focuses on preparing sandwiches for display in a retail cabinet, ensuring they are fresh, appealing, and ready for customers to purchase. Key Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other grab-and-go items according to established recipes and quality standards Ensure food is neatly packaged and attractively displayed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the preparation area Follow food hygiene and safety regulations Assist with stock management and replenishment Requirements: Previous experience working in a kitchen (experience with sandwich preparation is highly desirable) Ability to work efficiently under time constraints Strong attention to detail and presentation A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer: A competitive pay rate of £11.50 to £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Flexible working days to suit your availability A supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunity to contribute to a vibrant food service operation If you are an experienced prep chef with a flair for creating fresh, delicious food, we would love to hear from you
