Automation Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description : As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality. Key Responsibilities : - Design and develop robust test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG. - Maintain and enhance the test automation framework. - Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to develop comprehensive test cases. - Design and implement test cases to cover various test scenarios. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results. - Identify and report defects. - Conduct performance testing to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance. - Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs. Required Skills and Experience : - 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#. - Proficiency in Selenium or Appium for web and mobile automation. - Experience with test automation frameworks (JUnit, TestNG). - Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured). - Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) (ref:hirist.tech)
