Quality Inspector - nights Location: Leicester Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm – 6:00 am (4-day working week) Salary: Up to £39,900 per annum (£768 /week) Start Date: Immediate start available Key Responsibilities: As a Quality Inspector, your duties will include: Performing first-off measurements and conducting first principle inspections. Carrying out mechanical inspections of machined components to meet required quality standards. Using various tools and measurement equipment. Ensuring all work and documentation are completed accurately. Recording results and generating reports using inspection software. Developing a thorough understanding of the Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Conducting internal audits according to the audit plan. Person Specification: To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in inspection within a high-precision engineering environment, such as aerospace, precision engineering, or automotive. The ability to read customer drawings and understand the importance of accurate measurements. Proficiency in using different measurement equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and height gauges. Strong numeracy skills.
