Job Title: Plasterer Location: Derby Rate: £20.00 - £22.00 per hour Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our Building Services team in Derby. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and renovations to housing stock, schools, and public buildings. This position offers an excellent hourly rate, consistent working hours as well as a van and fuel card. Key Responsibilities: Perform plastering repairs, maintenance, and renovations across various properties and buildings. Carry out new plaster works on internal and external surfaces. Install and repair ceramic tiles in kitchens and bathrooms. Lay and repair flooring in kitchen and bathroom areas. Resolve minor or routine technical difficulties on-site, using your initiative and escalating where necessary. Maintain optimal vehicle stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery. Liaise with customers while working within an appointment system to provide excellent service. About You: Proven experience in plastering, repairs, and maintenance. Ability to work independently and solve routine technical issues on-site. Strong customer service skills, with experience working within an appointment system. Reliable, professional, and proactive in your approach to work. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of £20.00 - £22.00. Regular working hours, Monday to Friday.
