Graduates (Teaching Assistants/Cover Supervisors) Location: Sheffield Salary: £94 to £115 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: ASAP/February 2025 Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Full-Time / Part-Time Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector? What you’ll have to do: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students to help them meet their learning goals. Supervise whole classes during teacher absences, following lesson plans provided. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Support students with varying abilities, including those with additional needs. Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe and productive environment. Help prepare classroom materials and resources as required. Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective lesson delivery. Participate in extracurricular activities or school events where needed. Requirements that we are looking for: A degree in any subject (preferably Education, Psychology, or related fields), recently graduated is a must. Strong communication and organisational skills. Enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their development. Adaptability to work in different school settings and year groups. Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential). A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or working with students.
