Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a specialist structural repairs contractor for ongoing works in the North of England. The company are an industry leader in their field delivering a number of solutions on key projects in the North of England. Key solutions delivered include: structural concrete repair, corrosion protection, bridge strengthening, bearing replacement and concrete carriageway rehabilitation. Project values range anywhere from £1m to £5m. Duties include: Reviewing & Negotiating NEC 3 & 4 contracts Writing and sending short form contracts to supply chain Providing rates for projects Negotiating CE’s with client and sub-contractors Checking over CE values and substantiation Setting up new projects and tracking categories Checking & Raising Invoices Sending applications to client Chasing contract agreements and issues Reviewing CVRS with Finance Checking for Revenue and Allocate Upload Commercial ce/ew/apps to online portals (where applicable) Update Commercial Trackers Update W-I-P Add new projects to Project Register Move Tender files over to Contract Files This role is flexible with the opportunity of Hybrid working.
