Psychology Graduate - Mental Health/SEN Teaching Assistant - Bristol - ASAP Start SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational & Complex Needs) Bristol - Primary SEN SchoolASAP Start Education and Training A School in the Bristol area is currently looking to recruit a Psychology Graduate (or other relevant degrees) for a Specialist Teaching Assistant role. The school caters to children aged 5 to 11 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours. They focus on not only providing integrated education but also offering therapeutic support for each child, with a strong emphasis on their overall wellbeing. The school is seeking ambitious and passionate teaching assistants, ideally a Psychology Graduate, or a relevant field to join them on a full-time, long-term basis. The position is available ASAP SEN Teaching Assistant SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Needs Education and Training sector ASAP Start Bristol £85-£95 per day (DOE) Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm Ideal for a Psychology Graduate The school is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or recent Psychology Graduate to support children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as communication difficulties such as autism spectrum conditions, speech, language and communication needs, ADHD, and complex learning needs. This Bristol school collaborates closely with external professionals, including educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors, and speech and language therapists, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside them and shadow their work.
