Aptitude Recruitment work with employers of choice across the skills and employability sector. We are currently looking to support a market leading Training Provider in adding to their ever-growing team. Our National Client is growing their sales team and are looking for Business Development Consultants. The role: The roles will be business developing and then account managing your client wins. Your starting level will be based on the experience you are bringing to the table. We have a clear progression pathway to ensure our people are always working to a goal. Salary: £30,000 OTE is 50% of salary year 1, 100% of salary year 2 onwards, commission uncapped. Role Responsibilities: After a weeks worth of training at head office (accommodation and travel paid for), you will be working from home using their CRM. You will be provided with some leads and a database of potential customers, dormant and potentially some live accounts to get you going. Using modern systems, you will be speaking to key people within the Health and Social Care sector about their training needs. You will become a funding expert, able to talk to customers about different funding and incentives that are available to them. Your customers will trust your honesty and integrity and you will manage any customer you bring on, account managing them into the future. You will start your business development using a CRM system already populated with your prospects. In many cases it will already have key information of who you need to talk to and information on any previous interactions. Over time, your diary will become full of scheduled calls to speak to contacts you have already developed, building rapport, trust and integrity. Once you have won clients, your role will be to manage that relationship going forward and in time, you will be doing very little new business development as your working day will be spent working with the accounts you already have. Must Have’s: Sold apprenticeships, AEB or Training Ideally sold the Care sector - Care Homes, Community Care and the wider sector Confidence to talk to people no matter who they are Listening skills – be able to listen to what people are saying and absorb that content Customer Service skills Self-motivated and able to “get going” without prompting Attention to detail and pride in their work Able to learn and absorb information, processed and procedures If this feels like the right role for you, please apply online and one of the Aptitude team will be in touch
