I am currently recruiting for a skilled Days Shift Engineer to join a small team within a busy, fast-paced environment. The role will involve both reactive and preventative maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the smooth running of the site. Key Responsibilities: Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment Work efficiently as part of a small engineering team to ensure minimal downtime Use both electrical and mechanical skills to resolve issues, with an ideal electrical bias Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential problems before they arise Ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure in a busy site environment Previous reliability engineering exposure would be advantageous The Ideal Candidate: A blend of electrical and mechanical skills, with a slight electrical bias Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally in manufacturing or similar sectors A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to both preventative and reactive maintenance Ability to work as part of a close-knit team and independently when required Working Hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:30 Perks of the Job: NO WEEKENDS OR NIGHTS – enjoy a better work-life balance with Monday to Friday shifts Competitive salary and great company benefits If you're looking for a rewarding role with a fantastic team, apply now and take the next step in your engineering career
