Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer Chelmsford £55k - £58k plus benefits Our client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. Your role will be varied as you will be taking responsibility for the design and running of your own projects and attending client meetings where necessary. Therefore, excellent communication skills are essential. The role: Management and progression of your own projects Attending and running client meetings and design meetings Clearly and accurately communicating to your clients with project progressions Working to the standards of both British & Euro-Codes of Practice for Design and health & safety Using RC Frame Design and SCIA software About you: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering A Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) or near Chartered status Previous experience of the day to day running of a variety of projects Experience working with all common construction materials Thorough knowledge of both British & Euro-Codes of Practice for Design and health & safety Experience in RC frame design and expertise in the use of SCIA software would be desirable Our client is offering the successful candidate a competitive salary, life assurance and to cover the cost of annual professional memberships.
