They are searching for a Structural Engineer with 2-4 years’ experience to join and help develop their growing team. The ideal candidate would have: 2-4 years’ experience in a design-based role in a UK consultancy. An ability to contribute to the development of viable structural solutions within the scope of a design brief, taking account of structural stability, durability, aesthetics, sustainability, and cost. Developed skills to carry out analysis and design of structural forms including an ability to contribute to the specification and co-ordination of materials – steel, concrete, masonry and timber. Knowledge of the Eurocodes, other design guidance and a demonstrable range of construction techniques, together with the skill to apply these appropriately in design situations. An awareness of relevant environmental, societal, sustainability and economic issues, and associated legislation. An ability to communicate effectively and to explain your work, ideas and engineering principles to the team. An ability to produce drawings, sketches and reports that convey the appropriate level of detail and standard of presentation, together with an ability to manage project outputs and deliverables. Knowledge of Revit, Robot and Tekla Structural Designer would be an advantage
