Science Teacher (QTS) – Derby City Education Personnel are working with a school in Derby City who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Science Teacher to join their dedicated team As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students of all abilities. You will play a crucial role in creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of Science. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons that align with the National Curriculum. Assessing student progress and providing timely and constructive feedback. Setting and marking work to a high standard. Encouraging and supporting student participation in science activities, experiments, and competitions. Maintaining effective relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues. Contributing to the wider life of the school. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong subject knowledge in science Excellent classroom management skills A passion for teaching and learning The ability to inspire and motivate students Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 Experience with Science practical work A track record of raising student attainment Why apply through Education Personnel?
