Job Description

Required Qualifications / Experience: Minimum of a Matric with at least 2 years’ experience in a technical sales environment. Computer literate on MS Office Able to work overtime when required SAP Customer-centric Self-motivated and able to handle pressure Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans Above average organizational skills Main Responsibilities: Liaising with clients both telephonically and across the counter Attend and respond to client queries via the incoming e-platforms Daily cold calling – updating of customer database Preparing verbal and written quotes. Follow-up and conclude all open orders and open quotations Book delegates for training, ensure invoice and payment is done. Handover certificates to successful delegates Voluntarily assist trade shows and exhibitions Ensure demo room is tidy and stocked with marketing material on a daily basis Encourage prospective clients to register onto SAP, collect forms in return Entering orders into the system Liaising with Stores to ensure that orders are prepare timeously Provide clients and external sales team with sales support and marketing information on all our products Update daily reports Give product presentations to individual clients in our demonstration-area Provide basic technical support for the product and provide alternative advise further Assist Sales Administrator with up-to-date client profile information General: Assist External Sales on occasional client visits. Assist with ad-hoc duties, such as product launches, client functions, open days, stock take Manage optimal relationships with the client base, ensuring that the needs of the client come first Ensure that client queries are handled accurately and professionally. Communicate with production on special orders ie availability & eta’s It’s also imperative to attend our daily MBU meetings to iron out issues received the previous day.
