Job Description

Our client, a global leader in philanthropic technology, is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a critical role in maintaining accounting excellence for a platform that has made a difference in over 100 countries. Key Responsibilities : Maintain a firm grasp of transactional movements. Utilize advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Reconcile and match all balance sheet accounts. Investigate anomalies and resolve queries promptly. Prepare month-end files, reconciliations, and financial adjustments (e.g., accruals, prepayments, depreciation). Assist with the preparation of annual financial audit files and operational/regulatory audits. Perform variance analysis of actual vs. budgeted amounts. Undertake ad hoc financial tasks as needed. General Requirements: BCom Accounting qualification with ACCA, AG(SA), or SAIPA accreditation. Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles. 12 years post-articles experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills at all levels, internally and externally. Whats in it for you?
