Golang Lead - Microservices Architecture

Key Responsibilities : Lead Development Team : - Lead and guide a team of Golang developers, ensuring the implementation of best practices and high-quality code standards. Backend System Design & Development : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Golang. Architecture and Solution Design : - Participate in designing system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Code Reviews & Mentorship : - Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure continuous improvement within the team. Collaborate Across Teams : - Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, frontend, product management) to define requirements and implement robust & Performance Tuning: Ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications through regular performance tuning, load balancing, and resource & Best Practices: Ensure proper documentation of all code and processes and advocate for coding best practices and agile methodologies. Stay Up-to-date : Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in Golang and software development. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in Golang development with a proven track record of building scalable backend systems. - Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). - Experience with RESTful APIs and API design. - Proficiency in databases (SQL, NoSQL) and caching mechanisms like Redis. - Hands-on experience with Golang concurrency models and optimizing performance. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and grow a team of developers. - Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues, and make architectural decisions. - Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an agile team environment.
