Ref: 24123 Mechanical Design Engineer - The Role: Producing concept designs, customer proposals, and quotations. Mechanical design of bespoke machinery using 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks) Preparing design review presentations Conducting FEA analysis Producing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and tolerance stack studies Specifying equipment and obtaining quotations from suppliers Managing manufacturers and suppliers of equipment Working closely with on-site Technicians to support assembly / build activities Providing support for the installation and commissioning phase Produce project-related documentation, risk assessments, user manuals, and project plans The role would suit someone with a mechanical engineering technical background with design and detailing experience who enjoys solving mechanical design and assembly challenges.
