Teaching Assistant

HSA Locums are looking for experience teaching assistants that are available for part time or full time work. See below all the details: Responsibilities for the role include: Work one-on-one with a special needs pupil, providing tailored support and assistance as directed by the teacher or special education coordinator. Implement individualized learning plans to address the pupil's specific needs and learning goals. Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages the pupil's social and academic growth. Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher, special education team, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to the pupil’s education. Monitor and track the pupil's progress, providing feedback and insights to the educational team. Qualifications: Experience working with children with special needs is highly valued. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to supporting diverse learning styles. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Relevant certifications or training in special education or child development is advantageous
