Year 1 Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in the CV3 area of Coventry. This full-time position is to cover maternity leave, starting from February half term. About the Role As the Year 1 Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills to ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere. Work closely with colleagues to support the progress and well-being of every child, including those with additional needs. Requirements We are looking for someone who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Has experience teaching primary school students, with a strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. Possesses excellent communication and adaptability skills. Has SEND experience or training (desirable but not essential). Is passionate about education and flexible in various teaching environments.
