Teaching Assistant

A school in Roehampton is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 6th Form student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). About the Role: This is a temporary, full-time position working closely with a post 16 student who requires tailored assistance. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the student on a 1:1 basis during lessons and activities. Assisting with personal care as part of their daily routine. Encouraging the student’s development and helping them engage in their education. Who We’re Looking For: Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other special educational needs is highly desirable. A patient, caring, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people. A valid child and adult DBS certificate registered on the update service is essential. Strong English communication skills Please note: This is a full-time role and not suitable for part-time applicants. Role Details: Location: Roehampton Age Group: 6th Form students Working Hours: 08:45 – 16:45 (Fridays until 16:00) Pay Rates: £85 per day
