Opus people solutions on behalf of Shropshire Council have an exciting opportunity for a Approved Mental Health Professional to join their team Job Title: Approved Mental Health Professional Length of assignment: 3 Months Hours per week: 37 Hourly rate: £33.30 Location: Shropshire Council Remote/Office based: Post is working outside usual working hours covering evenings, weekends & bank holidays. Work includes AMHP work, Adult work & Children's work. The successful candidate will be working via a 6 week rolling rota To undertake a range of emergency assessments of vulnerable adults, children and young people in need, or in need of protection, and their families/carers, critically analysing all necessary information and responding appropriately to the needs of specific vulnerable adults, children and young people and any current or emerging safeguarding issues. To work with a range of partner agencies to reduce the risk of harm and provide advice and support to vulnerable adults, children, young people and families. To be part of the out of hours ESWT planned staffing Rota and where appropriate to provide cover in the absence of ESWT social work staff, as directed by the ESWT team manager. To ensure the discharge of Shropshire Council's duties and responsibilities in line with legislative requirements To provide the necessary support to service users and arrange appropriate services in accordance with Council To make considered decisions on whether concerns can be addressed by providing or signposting additional sources of information or advice.If you thrive to make a difference and have 3 years Social worker experience and this is the role for you, then we would love to hear from you
