Assembly Operative

ASSEMBLY and FABRICATION OPERATIVES Location: Kendal, Cumbria, England Monday - Thursday: 8.5 hrs/day Friday: 5 hrs/day £12/hour Paid overtime, PPE, Training Our client is a global leader in electrical engineering and manufacturing and is looking for 20 operatives to start in January. SPECIFIC DUTIES Manual handling of Aluminum housings and Copper and Aluminum busbars of varying mass; Preparation of assembly materials (Use of Stanley knives / scissors); Light hand machining (Use of grinders / finishing papers); Masking of housings and busbars prior to powder coating; Use of hand tools i.e. De-burring tools, spanners, sockets, screwdrivers, rivet guns & inserting machines; Assembly of busbar trunking to exacting standards; Packaging product for dispatch. GENERIC DUTIES The employee will carry out any other administration tasks as necessary or as requested by the Heads of Department. At all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company. And any other tasks as necessary to ensure that the Company Profits are maximised at all time
