Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for client approval and fabrication. Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and modify designs. Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications. Assisting with general design tasks and overseeing project workflows. Key Responsibilities: Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software. Review and refine designs in collaboration with the engineering team. Maintain organised records of drawings and related documentation. Stay updated with advancements in CAD technology and industry best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Experience in 3D modelling is advantageous. Strong understanding of mechanical and steelwork design principles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) engineering. Familiarity with fabrication processes and standards.
