Planner

Our client is looking for a Planner to join their Northern team in Sheffield focussing on high profile projects across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and leisure. My client a growing business who are turning over £45m and have a plan in place to hit £80m within the next 5 years. They are a leading provider in Mechanical & Electrical services with an outstanding team, and also with a commitment rooted in over 100 years of experience and excellence. As a Planner you will: Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop-down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with best practices, company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved Desirables: Asta or P6 qualifications/ experience Familiar with NEC & JCT forms of contracts If you are interested please send your CV to Ben This is a permanent position and Coleman James Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency
