Description As an Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance function. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: maintaining the sales and purchase ledger; managing and reconciling supplier accounts; responding to queries and arranging payments; raising of sales invoices; monitoring debtor ledger; arrange direct debit collections; allocation of receipts and payments; posting bank transactions; BACs runs; set up and maintain supplier accounts; assist with month end reporting including monthly bank reconciliations; payment processing; monitoring petty cash; expenses processing. Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of working in a similar role Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail and accuracyJob Offer An estimated salary range of £27000-£32000 per annum Hybrid working policy, onsite parking, other excellent benefits Opportunity to study financial qualification A collaborative and supportive company environment Opportunities for professional development
