Finance Manager Leicester Full time Permanent Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm £35-45k per annum DOE DC Personnel are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our clients Finance team within their £12m turnover manufacturing business. The Finance Manager would be responsible for ensuring the financial compliance of the company and communicating to the Managing Director regularly on performance. Responsibilities • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance cost control and optimise resource allocation • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping • Preparation of monthly management accounts including supporting reconciliations • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards while maintaining accurate financial records • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to provide insights into financial performance • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development • Conduct regular reviews of financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement • Collaborate with other departments to support organisational objectives through effective financial planning Requirements of the role • Preferably at least 10 years experience within Finance • Excellent knowledge and experience of Sage accounting is essential • Partially or fully qualified. • Experience using excel and reporting • Experience and knowledge of payroll • Experienced in daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent understanding of profit & loss, balance sheets and MI. • Positive and proactive manner If you are passionate about finance and possess the skills necessary, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
