Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Trafford Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Type of Work: Full-time, Long-term Start Date: January 2025 Pay Rate: GBP95 per day Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm About the Role: Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Trafford. This full-time, long-term role begins in January 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs (SEN) in achieving their full potential. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to children with varying SEN needs, such as autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) to meet the needs of each child. Support children both inside and outside the classroom, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to learning and care. What Were Looking For: The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced in supporting children with SEN. You should have: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent). Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting. A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to working with children. A strong understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices. Eligibility Requirements: To apply for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the online update service (or be willing to apply for one).
