As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support Learning: Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs for students with various SEN requirements. Encourage Development: Work closely with teachers and specialists to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students. Create an Inclusive Environment: Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. Collaborate: Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our students. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students. Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials. Support students in developing their independence and social skills. Monitor and record student progress, and report to teachers and parents. Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions. What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
