Job Description

Machine Tool Fitter, Essex, £17-20 PhWe are seeking a skilled Machine Tool Fitter ,Mechanical Fitter with toolmaking experience to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of special-purpose machinery, primarily for the automotive industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative automated solutions and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and fit mechanical components for special-purpose machinery, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. Perform manual machining tasks as required. Read and interpret CAD drawings to guide the assembly process. Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and ensure the machinery is built to specification. Contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting during the assembly process. Ensure that health and safety standards are met at all times. About You: Proven experience in toolmaking and mechanical assembly, particularly in special-purpose machinery. Ability to read and understand CAD drawings. Time-served toolmaker experience is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of automated machine systems is a plus.
