Assistant Accountant

CMA is partnering with a fast growth manufacturing business based in Waterlooville to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller. What will the Assistant Accountant role involve? Daily postings to the bank. Bank reconciliation. Balance sheet reconciliation. Ownership of credit control function. Assisting with purchase ledger. Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals. Ad hoc duties. Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy: AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience; Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential; Manufacturing experience is desirable; Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows. Additional benefits and information for the role of Assistant Accountant: 7.30am - 4.00pm hours. Hybrid working on Wednesday & Fridays (after training). Enhanced pension. 25 days holiday BH.
