With a £500m turnover and an exciting portfolio of innovative projects, they are seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and be the Commercial Lead on a £25m Commercial Office New Build in Reading. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work as the No. 1 Senior Quantity Surveyor, collaborating with a Quantity Surveyor. It’s a fantastic platform to gain hands-on experience while progressing toward a Managing Surveyor position. Key Responsibilities: Lead the commercial strategy and management for the £25m Commercial Office New Build project. Take full responsibility for cost control, valuations, budgeting, and reporting to ensure project profitability. Oversee and manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts. Collaborate with the project leadership team to fulfil contractual obligations and optimise financial performance. Mentor and support the Quantity Surveyor, ensuring effective teamwork and professional growth. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally with experience in high-value new build projects. Exceptional commercial acumen and leadership skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy. A collaborative and proactive approach to solving challenges and driving project success. What’s on Offer? ?
